Join Soul Shift Retreat for a deeply restorative and transformational journey in the breathtaking Azores at Exhale from October 25–30, 2026. Departing the evening of October 24, this immersive retreat is designed to nourish your nervous system, awaken your intuition, and reconnect you with the healing power of nature, spirit, and community. Surrounded by lush volcanic landscapes, ocean air, thermal waters, and the slower rhythm of island life, you’ll be invited to truly exhale.
Each morning begins with gentle somatic yoga and nervous system regulation practices designed to help you soften stress, regulate the body, and reconnect with yourself from the inside out. Throughout the retreat, Maureen Hancock will guide transformational workshops focused on intuition, energy awareness, spirit communication, emotional healing, and practical tools to raise your vibration and strengthen your inner connection.
Together, we will experience the magic of the Azores through unforgettable excursions and sacred moments woven into the week. Highlights include exploring the island’s volcanic sulfur caves, an oceanside hiking adventure with stunning coastal views, and a rejuvenating tree bathing experience paired with natural volcanic hot springs. One unforgettable evening will include an outdoor sound healing experience under the stars, where guests will relax in floating pool beds surrounded by candlelight, vibration, and the peaceful sounds of nature.
We will also enjoy a daytime visit to the local town, allowing guests to explore the charm, culture, shops, and beauty of island life, followed by an authentic Portuguese dinner filled with incredible food, connection, laughter, and local hospitality.
Guests will have optional spa and wellness time throughout the retreat to rest, restore, and enjoy the peaceful amenities of the resort.
One of the most meaningful evenings of the retreat will be our intimate “Postcards From Heaven” experience — a sacred group mediumship event where every guest will receive a personal message or connection from spirit in a heartfelt and supportive setting.
The final full day is intentionally left open as a free exploration day, allowing guests to relax or choose from optional island adventures and excursions at their own pace. Whether it’s whale watching, exploring hidden beaches, visiting volcanic landscapes, or simply resting by the ocean, this day offers space for integration, reflection, and personal discovery.
Three nourishing, mostly vegetarian meals per day are included throughout the retreat, with some dairy, eggs, and fish thoughtfully incorporated into the menu.
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a beautiful brunch before afternoon check-in, allowing everyone time to settle into the energy of the island and begin connecting as a group. Transportation from the airport to the retreat center is included.
There are occasionally direct flights available from Boston to the Azorean island of Terceira; however, most travelers will typically connect through São Miguel before arriving on Terceira Island. Please note that your main airfare and any connecting flights are not included in the retreat package.
